About Us

As someone who has used internet dating to find that someone special, I spent
literally hours looking through the various sites available.  Some were great,
others were a waste of time!

This site is the result of my searching for a safe place to meet honest Christians
looking for a partner.

We cannot promise that you will find that someone special, but we can advise you
how to make the experience as safe and rewarding as possible!

Blessings,
Jen Carter

What we believe

When you first view a brand new house everything seems just perfect. However,
within a week of moving in you will start to see some of the flaws. It may be the
bedroom door won't lock, a bathroom window is cracked or some skirting in the
lounge is hanging off. The list grows and grows. As people we have the same
problem, at first sight our faults may not be too obvious. But, when someone
starts to 'take up residence in our life' (maybe a new boyfriend or girlfriend) it will
not be long before they start to notice some faults. Maybe the stove called jealousy
is overheating a little or the controller of your temper has broken. Are there too
many images stored away in the attic floor? Or too many secrets in the basement?

Now, you give a list of flaws to the builder of the house and  he will be a little
annoyed and embarrassed. But that is nothing in comparison to how each one of
us would feel if our complete list of faults were made public to everyone. These
faults in our lives are due to what the Bible calls 'sin' and we are all guilty of them.
'All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God' Rom 3v23. The amazing thing we
have learned about God is he loves people and wants to build a relationship with
each one. The problem we have is God is perfect and cannot live in an imperfect
house.

So how do you get rid of your sin? You can't. God has to do it for you. That's why
He sent Jesus into the world. Jesus is the only man who ever lived a perfect life,
even his enemies could not accuse him (John 8v46). Yet, when He was died on
the cross an amazing transfer took place: 'God took the sinless Christ and poured
into him our sins. Then in exchange, he poured God's goodness into us!' 2 Cor
5v21 (The Living Bible). By rising from the dead He demonstrated that He's still
alive and will give you eternal life if you come to Him.

To become a Christian, you must:

  • Admit to God that you've sinned against Him.
  • Tell Him that you're truly sorry for the things you've done wrong.
  • Believe that when Jesus Christ died on the cross, He took the punishment
    for your sin.
  • Ask Jesus to come into your life, take away your sin and give you eternal
    life.
